Image design by Noma Fowler-Sandlin, Musebite Management The Literary Panel of the Shreveport Regional Arts Council has just released a spoken-word CD, BETWEEN QUIET AND CONFRONTATION, which features the work of 22 area writers. Professionally recorded by Scott Griffin, the CD includes 18 poems, two short stories and two novel excerpts. It was created to bring attention to the winners of the annual SRAC Literary Fellowships and the 100+ members of the SRAC Writers' Registry, a juried registry covering Bossier, Caddo, DeSoto, Red River and Webster parishes. There is also print version of the CD, which funded a grant from the Shreveport Regional Arts Council with funds from the City of Shreveport.
